“It is news that draws people to action; it drives society. The community, having understood the loss and the time course of loss, will do anything to recover what has been lost, and will create methods for that. Human history repeats this over and over again. Feeling the pain of loss is the center of the people’s movement. Knowledge is the tool to travel towards it.” - Vareethaiah Constantin >>>Munaivar Vareethaiah Constantin (1959, Pallamthurai) has been teaching Fisheries and Zoology at St. Jude’s College, Thoothur since 1982 and retired in 2018.
